REQUIREMENTS : A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF 7) in Statistics/ Demography/ Economics/ Population Studies, Training in Project Management, Research and survey methodology, Marketing or Customer focus, Financial and Asset Management, Labour Relations and Strategic Management is essential, 5 years’ applicable journey at senior managerial level, Extensive understanding of
data series via potential of fieldwork, evaluation and document writing, Experience in managing finances and compliance to the PFMA regulations, Experience in census taking activities, Knowledge of undertaking administration and exchange management, survey methodologies, Knowledge of country wide and international standards and practices, authorities acts, profiles of customers and stakeholders and their unique requirements, Marketing, Labour Relations, Financial Management and strategic planning, Knowledge of MS Office Suite, A legitimate driver’s license, Excellent communication, analytical, conceptual, presentation, strategic, architectural, hassle solving, interpersonal skills, Dynamic, selfdriven, innovative, creative and end result orientated, sturdy carrier delivery, consumer and exceptional focus, assertive, resilient and self-motivated, Ability to multitask and manage more than one and complicated duties and projects, Ability to work long hours beneath strain and meet tight deadlines, Ability to develop and have interaction inside an ever-changing environment, Ability to convey impartial and independent recommendation into choice making, Willingness to tour and work lengthy hours (overtime and stand-by).

DUTIES : Oversee administration of fieldwork operations and facts series in accordance with splendid countrywide and worldwide standards, Oversee advertising and advertising of statistical merchandise and offerings and provision of person statistics services, Dissemination of Stats SA merchandise and services, Promote the institution and improvement of National Statistical System on
