REQUIREMENTS : A three 12 months tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in Mechanical Engineering plus Trade Test in Mechanical associated discipline with applicable experience. Extensive understanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Mechanical Engineering Regulations (i.e PER, LEPC, SANS 10400 etc) and PFMA. A legitimate driver’s license is required. Registration or candidacy with a occupation physique in the constructed surroundings would be advantageous. Good verbal and written verbal exchange skills. Computer literacy. Good interpersonal skills. Good budgeting and estimating skills. Project administration skills. Knowledge and appreciation of the authorities procurement strategies (SCM directives and circulars).

DUTIES : Manage day to day renovation of mechanical equipment’s. Facilitate superb task execution in phrases of cost, satisfactory and time in the nation owned properties. Manage assignment fees and budgets. Conduct website inspections to make certain compliance with specs set out by using the branch and laws. Ensure OHSA and rules compliant. Assist in improvement of building
programs and behavior conditional surveys and file normally on the growth thereof. Render a coordinated and expert provider at all degrees concerning the preservation and administration of DPWI clients. Update asset register.
