DEPUTY DIRECTOR: LAYOUT & DESIGN REF NO: HRMC 32/23/3

SALARY : R811 560 – R952 485 per annum (Level 11), (an all-inclusive revenue package)
CENTRE : Head Office, Pretoria

REQUIREMENTS : An undergraduate qualification in Graphic Design at NQF stage 6 as identified by way of SAQA. Minimum of three years ride at a supervisory degree as a Mid to Senior Designer. Portfolio of preceding work and adequate proof of Design Management Projects. Advanced in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe in Design, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premier Pro. Knowledge of Video Editing, 3D and Motion Graphic apps such as Final Cut Pro, Sketchbook, Canva and Procreate will be an brought advantage. Knowledge of Apple Mac, Macbook Pro and the use of Apple iPad for format purposes. Knowledge and appreciation of Public Service legislation. Knowledge and appreciation of all Departmental prescripts and legislations. Required capabilities and competencies: Strategic functionality and leadership. Service shipping innovation. People administration and empowerment. Client orientation and consumer focus. Financial management. Programme and assignment management. Change management. DUTIES : The profitable candidate will be accountable for, amongst others, the following particular tasks: Manage and keep format and graph for the Department. Manage the things to do of the Graphic Design unit. Working from agreed sketch briefs, conceive format thoughts / principles to create designs for the Department’s products and campaigns. Manage the visible execution of designs and diagram briefs. Provide expert suggestions for idea development, artwork direction, the printing method / shopping for and manufacturing and screen satisfactory controls Contribute to editorial improvement of projects. Development and implementation of coverage and procedure, Directive Acts and Regulations. Develop and assessment communications insurance policies and code of exercise for the subdirectorate. Manage physical, human and economic resources.
