SALARY : R1 162 200 – R1 365 411 per annum (Level 13), (an all-inclusive profits package) structured as follows: Basic income – 70% of package; State contribution to the Government Employee Pension Fund – 13% of primary salary. The final bendy element may also be structured in phrases of the relevant remuneration rules.

REQUIREMENTS : An undergraduate qualification in Information Management / Information Science / Statistics at NQF degree 7 as recognized by way of SAQA. Minimum of 5 years’ journey at center / senior managerial level. Completion of the Senior Management Services Pre-entry Certificate upon appointment. Experience in investigation or / and coping with of labeled information. Knowledge of the South African Constitution. Knowledge of the Public Service Regulatory Framework. Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations. Understanding of departmental rules as properly as Human Resources law and prescripts. Knowledge of the Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS). Knowledge of the National Intelligence Strategy Act. Knowledge of the Protection of Information Act. Knowledge of Criminal Procedure Act of 1977 as amended. Knowledge of vetting and safety law such as National Key Point Act. Understanding and expertise of threat management. Understanding of the country wide vetting strategy. People administration and empowerment. Financial management. Required abilities and competencies: Strategic functionality and leadership. DUTIES : The profitable candidate will be accountable for, amongst others, the following unique tasks: To manipulate evaluation of statistics and statistical statistics on pronounced cases. Maintain a targeted report of profitable investigations, strolling and closed cases. Interpret uncooked facts into significant related records to be used in the Department. Conduct research, become aware of and analyse
weaknesses and safety dangers in processes. Facilities or buildings that make contributions to irregularities, illegal habits or breaches. Provide guidelines and recommendation that help in the improvement and implementation of preventive measures. Observe traits to aid in investigations and proactively discover weaknesses and/or safety risks. Manage and enforce strategic goals and innovation. Provide strategic path via evaluation inside the Directorate. Develop technical knowledge and make certain the implementation of innovation initiatives. Ensure superb governance and compliance inside the Directorate. Develop and put into effect governance processes, frameworks and methods inside the directorate. Ensure compliance with all audit necessities inside the directorate. Manage physical, human and monetary resources.
